Cautions people against fraudulent e mails

Islamabad April 9, 2008: Spokesperson of the Pakistan Peoples Party former Senator Farhatullah Babar has said that instances have come to notice of e-mail messages purportedly sent out by the Chairman of the PPP Mr. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

The e-mail messages are actually designed to tarnish the image of the family and the Party, he said.

In a statement today he said that the Pakistan Peoples Party and the family of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto strongly condemn the email campaign as a desperate bid by anti democracy forces to discredit the Party and the Bhutto family. Bhuttos live in the hearts and minds of people and elements seeking to discredit them in public eye are doomed to fail, he said.

The Party calls upon the members of the public to disregard the e-mail communication as nothing but false and total fraud.
