Islamabad, 26 May 2008: The American Senator Russ Feingold and the US Ambassador in Pakistan Ms. Anne W. Patterson called on to the Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, Senator Asif Ali Zardari at Zardari House Islamabad today.

Matters of mutual interests including democracy, terrorism, relation with neighboring countries including India, reconciliation process in Pakistan, efforts by the PPP to settle the judicial issue through parliament were discussed in the meeting.

General (r) Mehmood Durrani, Hussain Haqqani, defense minister Ahmed Mukhtar and Brig. Aman were also present in the meeting.
